Senior Data Analyst required for our Financial Services client based in Dublin City Centre, contract day rate position. Working on a Data programme that will integrate the principles of Enterprise Data Governance, Data Privacy, Information Lifecycle Management, and IT Risk & Security, driven by both internal and external requirements. To be considered for this role, you must be a hands-on Data Analyst with technical experience in Data structure types, interrogation, relationships and databases.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in the development and rollout of data inventory and frameworks
  • Experience with understanding, interpreting and analysing data sets
  • Subject matter expert of consumable published data assets, attributes, and capabilities, with a deep understanding of their relationships, specifications and structures
  • Experience in Data Modelling, Quality, Curation, Governance, Metadata, Lineage, SPI/APIs and Data Analysis Process
  • Must have worked in data governance, lineage, modelling, profiling, quality, discovery, classification, controls, protection and data governance frameworks
  • Perform in-depth analysis of large amounts of data to determine content, consistency, and quality
  • Testing of Data Sets and Data Quality
  • Demonstrated experience of stakeholder management in a cross functional environment
  • Articulate and comfortable chairing requirements workshops
  • Proactive, detail oriented and ability to work independently
  • Previous system deployments and integrations
  • Excellent analytical skills

Core Skills


Candidate must have extensive experience of project delivery with a minimum of five to seven years in Business Analysis and Data experience. This must be within a Financial Services environment and ideally with prior GDPR and/or regulatory domain experience. The candidate should also possess the following skills and experience and be able to demonstrate/substantiate them at interview:
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in development and rollout of data inventory and framework (must-have)
  • Experience with understanding, interpreting, analysing data (must-have)
  • Actively working on or already has Business Analysis certification
  • Experience with data quality, reporting and lineage tools: SQL, Alteryx, IMM, Collibra and Tableau
  • Strategic thinker with ability to review data, industry trends, and information to implement and drive change
  • Excellent all-round communication / interpersonal skills, in English language
